a simple earflap hat in manos.  using 5mm needles is going so much faster than 3mm.  waiting for some wool to arrive, malabrigo worsted and some mohair for my own snood.

i need a simple, basic pattern for a large cable hat for my husband.  any suggestions?  i’ve never cabled before.

double pointed hat.  without the pom poms, so far.  knit using rowan kid classic.  i used 3mm double pointed needles.  it was a labourous affair.  unless you’re a fast knitter.
